This fault was found on my week old R5 Iconic and may be discovered by others.
After starting a fast charge the infotainment speakers created a cacophony of crackles and pops which was quite alarming. The sound system was then mute but the popping noise did not stop for the rest of the trip.
I suspect it is the speaker system comms corrupted. I was about to call the dealer but remembered that you can reboot the infotainment system by holding down the off button on top of the display for 10 seconds. It does then eventually reboot and all is well.
We shall see if this happens again. It may be a one off EMC issue.
